WELCOME CENTER: Assists visitors and church families every Sunday morning concerning current church ministries and programs, campus directions, purchasing audio sermon CD's, and various opportunities for volunteering and/or leadership.
LENDING LIBRARY: Provides the congregation an opportunity to borrow quality Christian literature and videos.
JAVA CUP CAFE: Provides a central location for fellowship, hot coffee and espresso along with various other specialty drinks and snacks in a friendly and contemporary atmosphere.
OFFICE / ADMINISTRATION: Serve alongside the office staff of Neighborhood Church, assisting in clerical tasks and ministry preparation that is necessary to meet the needs of our congregation and weekly ministries.
GREETERS: Literally the most enjoyable volunteer opportunity we have available. You can make a huge impact by assisting us every Sunday morning by greeting everyone with a warm smile, a gentle hug and our church bulletin packet. This enthusiastic ministry can make a big difference in a person's decision to return to our church because they felt loved and welcome.
USHERS/SECURITY: These tremendous servants assist our church through giving directions, assisting with the elderly, escorting families to find the appropriate classrooms for the their children, answering questions, providing security, receiving donations and a long list of other campus management responsibilities. This incredibly important role is the glue that holds everything together each Sunday morning.
"PEOPLE FIRST" VISITOR OUTREACH: Assist us in reaching out to all of our weekly visitors through the preparation of visitor letters, making follow-up phone calls and praying for any needs they may have.
COMMUNICATIONS/I.T.: Do you have special I.T. skills? We could use your help in assisting us with the various communications and information technologies of the Church.
WORSHIP/MUSIC: If you have creative talent and are interested in being involved with worship and the arts, we would love to set an appointment for either a try-out or an interview to discover how you might make the greatest impact.
COMMUNION/BAPTISM: To assist in the preparation of communion and water baptism ministry.
SMALL GROUPS: We believe that small groups are necessary to develop deeper relationships, facilitate for accountability and growth, and provide a ministry opportunity for those who are not ready to teach in a large classroom. Small groups allow us meet outside of the church building and gather informally in our homes and communities. By doing this, we are able to discuss our needs in a safer, more relaxed environment while learning from each other and growing in our relationship with Christ. If you are interested in joining a small group, please call the church office and we will assist you in experiencing the joy and blessing of true fellowship.
"LIFTED-UP" PRAYER: Our intercession team is responsible for covering the church, staff, pastors, ministry leaders, and the congregation up in prayer. As requests are presented to the church office our intercessors are committed to lifting up these needs to Lord with the fervent belief that God is about to do a miracle! Along with our "Lifted-Up" team, the church also meets every Wednesday evening in the main sanctuary for intercessory prayer during our Mid-week Connection Service.
"FAMILY LIFE" COUPLES MINISTRY: Our Family Ministries provide opportunities for fun, growth, and fellowship for all types of families, whether they are single parent families, blended families, traditional families, young couples or singles. There are various activities, classes and conferences throughout the year, so please call our church office for information concerning upcoming events.
WOMEN'S MINISTRY: Providing Godly mentoring and teaching for ladies who are seeking after God and wish to make an impact in their world. We strive to bring out what God has placed within the heart of each woman so that she can be all that God has intended for her to be in her life, her family, her workplace, her church and her community.
FACILITY MAINTENANCE: To help us promote excellence in the way our facilities are maintained including landscaping, construction and remodeling projects, cleaning, minor repairs and decor. Our desire is to enhance the church campus and provide an atmosphere that is attractive, clean and safe for everyone to enjoy.
MEN'S MINISTRY: To build up the men within the church body to become the leaders and world changers that God has designed them to be! We provide accountability groups that meet on Mondays and Fridays for men to share their struggles, receive encouragement and learn biblical truths that will change their lives forever.
"17:6" STUDENT MINISTRY: Based on the theme of "counter culture" found in Acts 17:6 that encourages young people to turn their world upside down for Christ, we are excited about our new student ministry program at our church. The ultimate goal is to bring students into a lasting and growing relationship with God so that they can share their faith with fellow students and transform their campuses into a Kingdom Culture.
GIRLS CLUB: To win girls to Jesus Christ through love and acceptance. Providing an environment for girls to develop their spiritual gifts and abilities. Provide encouragement, support and accountability through lasting Christian relationships.
RANGER BOYS: To teach young boys life skills, along with instructions concerning hiking, camping, cooking and fishing. Each week the boys are taught biblical truths, leadership and respect in a fun atmosphere that allows them to work with their hands.
"POWERHOUSE" CHILDREN'S MINISTRY: Help us provide a creative worship environment in which kids are allowed to have fun in a safe place where they can build a relationship with Jesus Christ. There all types of personalities and talents that are needed to minister to our kids. Regardless of your skill level, kids simply need someone who cares about them. Please contact our church office for an application and instructions regarding fingerprinting (for child safety) and orientation classes.
CELEBRATE RECOVERY: Celebrate Recovery ministry is to fellowship and celebrate God's healing power in our lives through the 8 Recovery Principles, and the 12-Step Program. We need group facilitators, sponsors and volunteers to help set-up each week.
"NINEVEH" HOMELESS MINISTRY: There is nothing more satisfying that meeting the needs of those who are desperate and hurting. Our park outreach ministry provides meals and clothing while sharing the love of Christ in evangelism. Upper Room: Minister to the needs of the community through food, clothes and prayer. On The Run for Jesus: By offering a free meal to the needy, gives them hope to be able to cope with the stress of the day. To develop a relationship with an unbeliever that will eventually lead them to the Lord!
