The Upper Room Clothing and Food Pantry serves the Neighborhood Church congregation and the local Santa Clara community with nutritious, nonperishable food and good used clothing.  Everyone is welcome to come in and get what they need with the help of our volunteers who are ready to serve and help meet your food and clothing needs.

If you need help...please don't hesitate to come in on Wednesdays from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, or Sundays immediately following service, and pick up a bag of food or "shop" for clothes that you may need.

If you would like to help...food & clothing donations can be dropped off at the Gomes Center at door #4 in the donation bins, or preferably you can drop them off on Wednesdays during open hours, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.  Please donate only nonperishable canned or boxed foods.  Financial gifts are welcomed and checks can be made out to Neighborhood Church. Please note on the memo section of your check: The Upper Room.  Thank you partnering with us to help those in need!

On The Run for Jesus

"For I was hungry, and you fed me.  I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink…"  Matthew 25:35

On The Run for Jesus was started in 2004, by Lori Habib and her heart and passion for the homeless.  It started out on Thursdays at Central park, with a dozen donuts and a container of coffee.  Now, with Mike Heinemann, "On The Run for Jesus" provides occasional meals in the Bistro Cafe of Neighborhood Church along with outreaches to local parks on Wednesday mornings.
