At Neighborhood Church, children are a huge priority for us, so we provide fun and exciting programs and activities for all ages. All of our children's ministry volunteers are fingerprinted, and have shown definitive teaching abilities in order to provide a safe and loving atmosphere for your child!
We are in the process of building a new high tech children's theater, and we have recently expanded our nursery to create two separate environment for "walkers" and "crawlers." Our facilities are well maintained and are equipped with all of the necessities including play equipment, rockers, toys, changing tables, learning centers, audio/video equipment and more!
SUNDAYS:
Doors open for signing in children, at 9:15 a.m., during our Sunday School hour. Feel free to have a cup of coffee before service at the Bistro Café. Powerhouse Kid's Church is for Kindergarten through 5th Grade, and is available on Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. simultaneously during the adult worship service. Kid's begin with a contemporary style of worship, with colorful teaching, lot's of games, fun, interaction, puppets, skits and hands-on learning. Your kid's will definitely have a blast! Meet us in the Children's Theater, located in our Educational Building near the Bistro Cafe.

The Children's Ministry is ALWAYS looking for volunteers to minister to our kid's. Neighborhood Leadership believes strongly that every person should have a place of service. If you have a heart to see kid's know the love of Jesus, then this is the place for you! Contact the church office or email the leaders listed below for more information!
Each class has an awesome curriculum specifically selected for each age group so that they can learn about God through the parables and other stories from the Bible. Our teachers provide a variety of ways for the children to learn through music, games, crafts, visual aids, multi-media and other exciting activities!

The greatest truth about Preschoolers is that they love to learn about ANYTHING! They love it all…toys, Jesus, snack time, friends, the weather, God's Word, color crayons. It's so much fun to teach them because they are little sponges, soaking it all in! Their little hearts are open at this age, to accepting the unconditional love of Jesus, like never again in their lifetime. …So we answer the call… "Let the little children come unto me"…
Have we got some awesome curriculum for the kids!! We invite you to join your favorite characters from VeggieTales and discover how to build a powerful relationship with God! It's a life-changing experience children's will never forget! Children will learn valuable tools for building their relationship with God. Learning has never been this much fun! Nursing Mom's Room
Available to moms (and dad's too!) who are not quite ready to leave their babies! Live video feed available so you can still hear the service.

Ages 3 to 5 years old - this preschool age group uses the Gospel Publishing House Sunday School Curriculum.

The Girl's Ministies is a girl's club (formerly known as Missionettes) that provides a place for girls to learn about life in Christ, where they can build lifelong relationships among themselves and with Christ. With the Missionettes curriculum, girls develop spiritually and mentally, are given encouragement, support, and accountability through lasting Christian relationships. It is an environment for girls to develop their gifts and abilities, and acquaint them with the Great Commission of Jesus Christ our Lord.
The following groups are available on Wednesday nights from 7:00-8:15 p.m.:
- FRIENDS MPACT CLUB - Middle school age girls - meets at the Gomes' Center Room #4
- STARS MPACT CLUB - 3rd thru 5th Grade Girls - meets at the Fellowship Hall
- PRIMS MPACT CLUB - 1st and 2nd Grade Girls - meets at The Jungle Room
- DAISIES MPACT CLUB - Kindergarten Girls - meets at the room behind the Veggie Tales Room
- RAINBOW CLUB - Preschool girls and boys - meets at the Veggie Tales Room

Royal Rangers

Wednesday Evenings, 7-8:15 pm
The Royal Rangers program is a boys' club that "Reaches, Teaches and Keeps boys for Christ." The program focuses on instructing, challenging and inspiring our boys in the areas of Bible doctrine, Christian service, moral conduct and basic beliefs of our church through interesting activities boys enjoy, such as outdoor, recreation and camping activities. Dedicated leaders (Commanders), provide direction during the weekly outpost meetings. The goal is to develop the total boy for Christ!
The following Boys' Clubs are available for the following ages:
- Ranger Kids, ages K-2nd Grade
- Discovery Rangers, ages 3rd - 5th Grade
- Adventure Rangers, ages 6th - 8th Grade
- Expedition Rangers, ages 9th - 12th Grade (this age group not available at this time)
