God intends for us to experience life together - we need each other!

"Since we are all one body in Christ, we belong to each other, and each of us needs all the others."     ~Romans 12:5b NLT

Like parts of any living body, it's impossible for believers to thrive without each other.  You need to be connected to a church fellowship to survive spiritually, but more than that, you need to be in a small group of people where you can be accepted, supported, and challenged to fully live out the purpose for your life.

That's why, at Neighborhood Church, we have small groups meeting weekly!  In groups of 6-12 people, you can experience what God has planned for you - a loving family!

In a small group you will:

EXPLORE THE BIBLE - Go ahead, ask questions without fear, probe, share your thoughts and learn from the insights of others.

GROW - All healthy things grow!  A small group is an ideal environment for growth as a follower of Christ.  With a group of friends you will learn, be challenged, be encouraged, and have fun doing it.

CONNECT - In a growing church like Neighborhood, it can be hard to connect with others.  Small groups give you the opportunity to make those connections and make some new friends.

FIND SUPPORT - Small groups provide excellent support in times of crisis, change and stress.  You'll have a sense of stability and security knowing there are people who really care for you and are commited to standing with you.

LAUGH - Small Groups are fun!  Neighborhood Church folks don't attend out groups because they're forced to - they go because they enjoy them.

SERVE Many of our groups take on one or more ministry projects during the year.  Serving is good, but serving with a group is a blast!

REACH - Most who attend a group can't help themselves from wanting to include friends and family in the new friends they found in their small group.

Small groups are usually made up of people who either live in the same community, or they gather because they have similar life goals.  Some meet because they are single, others meet to study gender-specific topics.  Some join an Empty Nester's group because they are retirees with lots of energy, and others have hurts or habits they want to overcome so they join a Celebrate Recovery Group.

No matter what group you choose to check out, we trust that you will find our Neighborhood Church family to be friendly, warm and open.  Check out our groups and join one (or start one) today!
